six months

sweet baby E has those big baby blues just like my niece. the camera loves them just as much as i do! my sister helped out with this shoot, getting E to laugh and smile at her crazy faces and noises...made for some pretty darn cute pictures!!

no place like the beach

i always love taking pictures at the beach, the lighting is always perfect and of course the background is just gorgeous. too bad every session can't be at the beach!! beautiful background and a beautiful family...love these pics!

Christmas is Coming!

had a great time taking B's pictures. i had never taken pictures in this location before, so it was fun to explore and find some cool new spots....such as a random green dumpster.... haha!

making art with art

these were some unplanned shots that i ended up loving! a friend and i headed to the park to do some artwork for fun. i planned on making some collages, but as soon as she started drawing i picked up my camera and started taking pics instead. thus...making art with art!

it's all about the eyes

this session was for a photography project last year. the assignment was to take portraits that conveyed strong emotion. pulling inspiration from the lovely tyra banks and her "smize" technique (smiling with your eyes), i focused in on the eyes as well as the colors to pull out the emotion in my good friend "s" who agreed to be my model for the day. she did a fabulous job, and we have done several shoots since just for fun!

like my second family, the "s family" is always fun to be around, and it was a blast getting to shoot this mom + kids session for their dad on father's day. what a great idea, R!
