action shots

the twins are back...in full blown action. it was a workout chasing these two around, but it was so much fun capturing them on the go  in their true element. these pictures are just so "them." all the expressions and faces just capture their fun-loving personalities. love these little guys so much!!

something's funny

this family was referred to me by my lovely roommate samantha! i'm so happy i got the chance to meet them and take pictures of their adorable family. the kids (and the parents too!) could not have been better subjects. the baby with his sweet chubby cheeks was just so darn cute (and his name happens to be my all time favorite name!) and the little girl you see here must have been born to be in front of the camera. she had the poses down (hands on the hip, over the shoulder, etc) and when she heard the magic words "smile like somethings funny" she'd just crack up and give the cutest smiles. at one point, she even wandered off from family pictures on her own and specifically asked to have her picture taken "by herself." too cute! thanks R fam!!

at one point we were struggling to get smiles out of the little man. this next smile is courtesy of the big sis dancing around and making funny noises for him. you can tell he loves his sister!

smile like something's funny.... case in point. love it!!

reverse psychology

this little girl was just a dream to shoot. her eyes are stunning and her expressions are absolutely priceless. the trick to getting miss r to smile for the camera is to tell her not to smile. "don't you smile, now!" is all you have to say to set her off in a fit of contagious giggles. her parents are definitely well practiced in their reverse psychology techniques! i had so much fun with you guys, enjoy the sneak peak!
