senior CD

i had such a great time meeting and taking pictures of this beautiful senior! i couldn't stop complimenting her on how much of a natural she is in front of the camera. no instruction was needed, she knew just what to do! she let me in on her secret, though... being in theater! hmm... i'll have to find a way to get more of the theater crew on my list! ;]

the twins

i was sitting for these guys the other day and we pulled out their halloween costumes to snap some pics. it was tough to get a picture of the two of them together without someone there to plop them back into place when they would run in opposite directions. but i think we got some pretty cute individual ones!

the castle

a couple of weeks ago, i got to take little e's pics...now i got to visit with her again, this time with her precious big brother, "c." turns out c is not a huge fan of getting his picture taken. it took some creative thinking to get him to sit still for more than the click of the shutter. the best tactic we came up with ended up having to do with our location. we hit up the church in mariemont, which c conveniently thought was a castle. sweet big bro that he is, we convinced him to tell e all about the "castle" and he sweetly whispered in her ear and smiled over and over again. the fallen acorns also helped out quite a bit, as he sat and studied them while i snapped the pictures as quickly as possible.

c loves to hop...and he's makes quite the funny face when he does

notice the acorns...

LOVE this one!

future mr. & mrs.

will & kate i mean, kaelyn and joe were my first engagement session. we packed up some homemade props, a pair of matching raybans, and a couple as stunning as royalty, and headed up to oxford to celebrate these "miami merger's" engagement. i went to the shoot expecting kaelyn to be all about the photos, and joe to be the typical guy who was just ready to get them over with. but that was not the case at all. joe cracked me up with how excited he was about the shoot...coming up with new ideas, taking credit for poses, and just totally hamming it up. i loved it!! k+j, thanks for being my guinea pigs and being my first engagement shoot :)
